The adventurous Jenny + Pat were ready to tie the knot and pitch a tent with their mountain campground themed wedding so they asked me to bring their vision to life. It was a great feeling to be able to combine my two loves of photography and design into one project and allowed me to really understand this adorable couple.

When you’re engaged you want to shout it from the mountaintops - so - there’s no better or more beautiful of a location than Rocky Mountain National Park! We spent the early morning exploring the park and setting up shots for their engagement photos to share with family and use on the custom designed Save-the-Dates.
To give the invitation set a personal and quirky feel all of the illustrations, maps, and watercolors were completely custom and hand drawn! Including a simple couples “logo” to be used on all of the pieces and even on wedding items to be handed out on the wedding day.
Being a Colorado-based campground wedding where all of their family and friends would be flying in, we decided to give people a more robust formal invitation to not only get guests excited for their weekend adventure in the mountains, but also provide extra information for the safety of the guests. To accomplish this we created one singular folding invitation so that no extra pieces would be tossed away or lost. It also provided a unique and engaging experience for the guest to entice them to read all of the information provided.
These invitations were printed, trimmed, stickered, and stamped all by hand from Jenny’s and my home to provide the most cost effective solution for the couple. Even the decaled edge was done by hand (ouch)!
The unfolding of the piece was designed to feel like a refined brochure that walks you through all the details of the wedding to eventually reveal the entire campground maps.
